...And Now We Dance, We Celebrate
Editor’s Note: The subsequent article contains potentially offensive content; its words comprise a fictional first-person account of the emotions of an Islamic terrorist.
I am Muslim and nothing else. My heritage, nationality, even my name; all this is secondary to Islam, the highest virtue. I believe in justice and good, freedom, and I value proper sacrifice. This is my attitude, radical Islamic fundamentalism is the only way; it is the best way. What I have done to you is unfortunate – acknowledge the righteousness of utilitarianism, now you’ll act carefully and with respect.
I have lived near your kind for some time, watching the remorseless hypocrisies continue while dodging your double-edged sword. You are a phony; a bully, a liar and my people will not be left at the mercy of self-centered or materialistic pragmatism anymore. We are at the mercy of one, our Creator.
Since 1948 my community has watched a new villain in the global movement against the culture and religion of Islam, and against the Muslim nation in general. You stood behind the Jews from the beginning, not because of them or their beliefs, no – because of yourself, your power and your greed; your moral weakness. You refuse to compromise. All you’ll give my people are more weapons, instruments of more murder and more war. And then you smile to see us combating, you care to cheer us on, and you wear a jewel in front of our poverty.
Your pillars of finance deserve to explode in the face of your symbol of offense, your narrow-minded statue. Your defense is vulnerable, no matter how hidden it is. And you are your own worst nightmare; those tools you value so highly now frighten you.
You say it yourself; your strongest asset is your business. You are an oxymoronic people of collective individualism; you are a people of evil. Your policy here in our lands is gluttony – you take our resources and in doing so, you take away our freedom, our justice and our survival. Our lives are a disposable impediment to your interests – your business – and your supposed superiority and your people of ignorance protect you. Most my people fear you – I do not.
Remember your faith, I call you Goliath. You are alone at the top, all alone. But your enemies are solidifying, and unity, unity is your downfall – Islam is destined to prevail. You deserve it, you cause it, and you ask for it with your ambivalence.
I am a permanent soldier in the service of Allah, not a person of terror. I am a victim of injustice, a victim of oppression and a victim of deliberate exploitation, and I have a duty of Jihad. I must deliver that duty; I must deliver violence; this is my diplomacy. I must invoke death if am truthful to my spirit. I care for my neighbors; I do not use them for personal advantage. It hurts me to see all the suffering, to see my people emote constant sadness. And I will surrender my own existence to alleviate their pains, so they can celebrate, they can finally dance.
I am not an enemy that preys on innocence – you are not innocent. I am not an enemy that hides – you will hunt me down. And make no mistake about it; Islam is divine. This is a monumental struggle of good versus evil, but good will prevail.
Postscript: The author of this article does not endorse, nor agree with any of the aforementioned arguments. This line of reasoning is despicably thoughtless – it fatally disregards the profound and fundamental necessity of human preservation. It is important to realize the enemies’ basis, to know the opposition, in order to overcome its immoralities. The author is not an expert on Islamic politics, not a Muslim and he conducted not a single interview with a radical Islamic fundamentalist. He has taken three courses at UNLV that present an analysis of Islamic terrorism.
